In the lesson we learn the following:

1) The use of  لَمْ : It is a negative particle.

     

 It is used with the verb in the present form.It is brings about two changes:

a) It turn the present tense into past.

  Note  the endings of verbs

He goes   يَذْهَبُ

He did not go          لَمْ  يَذْهَبْ
